Bell Ringing

St. Mary's church tower has six bells, the oldest dating from 1622. Our bell ringers play before our main morning service on Sundays. They also practise on one evening during the week. From time to time they ring special peals, and sometimes go on outings to ring at other churches.

More information about St. Mary's bells and how to become a bell ringer, please contact Iris Scammells (01252 873503) or Tony Walker (01252 629575).

St. Mary's Choir

St. Mary's Choir usually sings twice a month at the Sunday 10.30 am service (11.00 am from October 23rd), also at special festivals. The choir performs on request at some weddings and funerals, and gives occasional concerts throughout the year, notably at our annual Candlelit Carols Concert. We welcome new members. More information from Martin Simpson (01252 876289).

Fund-raising Events

We hold a number of fund-raising events throughout the year. Proceeds go to church funds, church charitable giving and to support other Eversley bodies such as Charles Kingsley School (a Church of England Primary School).

Two regular events which are well attended are the Candlelit Carols Concert in early December and the Lamb Roast (see picture to right) in the Summer.
