Searchers |
'Searchers' is our name for St. Mary's Junior Church. We meet in the Church Hall at 11.00 am on the second, third and fourth Sundays of each month (except when there is a Family Service -see Worship). Children get involved in a range of activities - making things, painting/colouring, taking part in short pieces of drama, learning songs or poems and listening to stories from the Bible. Searchers is run by adult leaders - all of whom are committed Christians and have been approved to work with young children. At the end of their meeting, the children are brought into church for a short blessing by the priest and to tell/show the congregation what they have been doing. Searchers runs in parallel with the morning service in church. We invite parents bringing their children to Searchers to stay for the service, then take their children home with them afterwards. Parent & Toddler Group (accompanied children 0-5 years)  |
Eversley Parent and Toddler Group meets
in St. Mary’s Church Hall on Thursday mornings from 10.00-11.30am,
term-time only. We aim to provide a relaxed, informal environment for
local children to play alongside one another, to play with different
toys & to do craft activities. Very importantly we also offer
parents/carers the opportunity to have a drink, and hopefully a sit-down
and chat! There is lots of free play for children, as well as activities such as play doh, colouring, sticking, painting and seasonal creations. There are refreshments during the session and a song time at the end for all. If you are at home with little ones do come and join us. For more information
