Tim Dakin in call to "Live the Mission of Jesus"

The Revd. Canon Tim Dakin has spoken of his desire for the Diocese of Winchester to "live the mission of Jesus".

Canon Tim is today formally ordained a bishop in a service led by the Archbishop of Canterbury at St Paul’s Cathedral, prior to being enthroned in Winchester Cathedral and welcomed as the 97th Bishop of Winchester in April.

He said that he had felt a strong calling to Winchester, and hoped to draw on a strong tradition in the diocese to sculpt a future rich in Mission.
