Sunday, 11th March 2018
The annual revision of the Church Electoral Roll for 2018 will commence on Sunday 25th March 2018.
If your name is already on the Electoral Roll there is no need to do anything.
Being on the Electoral Roll is an important part of being a member of St Mary's. It is our church's register of electors; by enrolling you become a voting member of the Church of England and so help to ensure that all the councils of the Church - the Parochial Church Council; the deanery synod; the diocesan synod; and the General Synod - are fully representative of its members.
Electoral roll returns are one of the key indicators monitored by the national church when allocating clergy across the UK.
If you wish to be added to the Electoral Roll please pick up a form from the table in church, complete it and send or hand it to:
To be included on the Electoral Roll for 2018 all new forms and any alterations to existing entries must be completed and handed in by 8th April.
The revised Roll will be available for inspection from Sunday 8th April 2018 when corrections may be made, but no further additions may be made until after the Annual Church Meeting on 22nd April 2018.
